According to your experience... please help me make a decision.

Dude, just go to university. You will regret it when your 50 years old working at wal-mart because you thought you were too old to go to a university. People take a year off, fail a year in grade school, their birthday is odd and they start when their 19.

Are you serious? There are a decent number of people who enter college at 19 legitimately, without having lost a year anywhere.

Other than being on your deathbed, there's no age that's really "too late" for university. 1 year wouldn't even register with anyone.

I work as a tour guide for my college. Today I gave a tour to some prospective students that were somewhere in their 30's. Nobody is even going to notice that you are a bit older than most people in your graduating class, and I don't think it is ever too late to get more education.

I don't think it is at all a question or even recognizable that you waited until you get to 24 or 25- and even then, it's not a big deal or weird.
