That's very unfair of you. I'm a Yankee fan and love the game. I respect anyone who puts on a uniform and understand the passion fans have for their favorite teams. Rivalries are good for the game and "One Ups Man Ship" is part of the rivalry. Yes, there are bad elements from all teams in terms of fans but you can't throw a blanket over everyone.

It's not Yankee fans that are stupid and obnoxious, it's all the press coverage they get. If ESPN didn't cover every single little thing out of Yankees camp, they wouldn't be as hated as they are now. They are the Duke of MLB.

That's what money does to people. The Yankees have all the money to buy championships. I think Yankee fans feel they have a better chance at routing for a winning team that way. That's what money does to people.

Not ALL yankee fans are. Just the ones that are more vocal, and they are usually in the minority. And those are the ones that scream the loudest.
I used to think the same think until I actually started talking to one.
You would be amazed about how much baseball (not just the yankees) they do know. Probably more than you (I would guess).

I'm guessing that you are probably a Boston fan as Yankee fans are nowhere near as stupid and obnoxious as Boston fans. Yankee fans are more about pride in their team and the game. Boston fans are mostly about hating every other team.
