The professional answer has to do with the lighting (and I think it's the lighting you're getting at with this question). Most photographers refer to dawn and early morning as the "magic time" when skin seems to glow from within.

Remember, it's crucial to have well-moisturized skin for the best look!

I find that my skin is most radiant after a good nights sleep and a mild cleansing followed by a moisturizer. My skin seems to look nice for most of the day. I also find that my skin is extra radiant around my ovulation time.

Right after I wash it, and it's still a bit damp, and after I've put on moisturizer.

It's a shame my skin isn't perfect though.. or I'd leave it the way it is, without concealer...

For me it's after a good night's sleep, some good morning sex and a hot shower... So about 10am...
