Thats really funny I agree. But please remember that 1. These matches are not counted even for the records.
2. Top teams do not like to over-exert in these rubbish warm up games.
3. Bangladesh are not a bad team at all. Dont forget that they have beaten a full strength Aussie team a couple of years ago. They also beat pakistan in the World cup and they have defeated India also in an ODI game.
So dont look into this result too much.

Congrats to Bangladesh for not feeling too little against the mights of the Black caps. They held their nerves and clinched quite a thriller... at the end pretty comprehensively. Let's see how this goes down...this ought to be a very good world cup and competetion will be fierce. Lets also not forget that Bangladesh played without their main 2 players, Mohammad Rafique - allrounder, and Shahreer Nafees, their best batsman and the player of the year 2006, who were being rested due to injuries.

Thanks for bringing this good news of Bangladesh among the Y!A users in Cricket segment. I consider this win against NZ as a baby-step for Bangladesh.

Some of the responses were a bit sarcastic. Tell me, what do you tell your 1 to 2 years old toddler when he/she can make first-ever small-walk without assistance? I am sure you congratulate and encourage them and also take some pride for enabling the baby to learn to walk. Nobody would start yelling like 'look this is no great deal, I can walk 5 miles in an hour' etc (lol).

I am appending below my response a few days ago to a similar question:

Quote:
Goliath mocked David for coming against him with "sticks," cursed him by the names of the Philistine gods, and then closed in to attack. "David...struck the Philistine, and killed him". This is how he did it- first; he slung the stone, then "took his sword... and killed him". David drew a stone from his bag and used his sling to send it flying into the giant's head. When Goliath fell to the ground, David drew the Philistine's sword from his scabbard and cut off his head as he previously stated he would.
Un-quote

So don't rule out any possibilities, though one may mock them at first like a few have done here too at their own peril (lol)!

YEs thats why this world cup is unpridictible, any one who play best will win the match and obviously win the tournament. no team is favourite, every one has to make effort to get the team winner
