There is an app, it's called CPU-Z. It's completely free and offers a wide range of information about your system. When you download it and open it up, it automatically scans your system and displays info about your CPU, RAM, Motherboard, Bus, and many other components. It gives the amounts in precise MHz and GHz. Highly recommended.
