It used to be considered quite an insult. But I think it's lost its impact from overuse. In fact, many people brag about being a bi*ch.

The word ***** should only really mean one thing. if it is used by a woman to belittle another woman or just in reference to her this is really bad. How can we expect respect from men and expect them not to call us Bitches if we use it in reference to eachother. I cant say if the word is good or bad because I dont believe that there is anything that does not fall between a grey area but we should really stop using that word, it belittles us as women and we wont go far if we use every attempt to put eachother down. Good Question.

Words are exactly that..(words).They have different meaning to different cultures not just limited to years .Examples of this would be as follows: ***=cigarette, gay=happy,b#tch=female dog,and so on.I think this really depends on the group: ethnic, social stat, educational,or moral beliefs. I hope this doesn't sound like I'm on a soapbox...The word in question though seems to still strike a nerve with most. Later and good luck.

It certainly has changed. Two of our dogs are b itches so there is one meaning of it. If someone calls it me to try and insult me, then i wish them all the best, as i laugh at them. To me it has a other meanings,2 of which are:
B-babe I-in T-total C-control of H-him
B-beautiful I-individual T-that C-causes H-hard ons!.
Can you come up with some more anyone?..lol

It is good because I never thought it nice to insult female canines! My Lab mix, Duchess Abigail Von Barker is a far greater lady than certain humans who now hold the title of B**ch

I have two. A Black and a Chocolate. Labradors.
They are bi£ches purely because of their gender. Otherwise, they would be Dawgs. The word is overused, misconstrued and only used by those who effect to be "Streetwise"
Sad, really...

I do not think it is good or bad, It has lost its potency and is almost a regular word that usually people don't take offense to, but also don't think of it as a compliment.

Most girls have at some point been called a b*tch which is an obvious insult.

Like all words, it is the way that they are said that counts.
