I tried "toggling it on and off" - but I don't think any of that worked, cuz when I held the Menu button to make it disk type it wouldn't work.

In iTunes, you need to check "Enable Disk Use". Then you need to drag the txt files into the "notes" section of your ipod under my computer.

well to answer the question... (dont know what your where trying to do with the detail you gave) save the text as a txt file yeah and then just save it under ipod and then notes and well yeah thats it
