I was watching House on March 6th and he started playing a song with Dave Matthews. They only played a few seconds of it. What is it? I know it but can't think of it. It is driving me nuts!!!

Not the song House started writing and couldn't finish and not the Entertainer. Earlier in the episode House plays something when Dave Matthews first gets to hospital.

If you are talking about the one where House did the quick little hand claps when DM played it, it was the intro to "I Don't Like Mondays" by the Boomtown Rats.

I missed part of it but did see them both play a few notes of The Entertainer which was written by Scott Joplin and featured in the Robert Redford/Paul Newman movie The Sting. Perhaps that's it?

As the story tells it. House wrote that song as a boy and never could finish it and the piano guy could having never heard it before.
