Absolutely. I went to school with a girl that was total trash. She'd sleep with anybody! When I met her she was 15 and was telling me about a guy that she'd slept with when he was 16 and she was 12 but had said she was 16...and seeing her pictures from then she looked at least 16. Well this guy ended up going to jail for 18 months! She was bragging about it! I was and still am totally disgusted with that. She messed things up for this kid for a really long time. I don't think he should've had anything happen because like I said she DID look 16 so how should he have been expected to know otherwise?

Absolutely, anyone should be held accountable for their actions. I have a 10 year old who knows exactly what he is doing at any given time, whether it is immoral or immoral, right or wrong, and long term trouble/short term trouble. He also knows he will be held accountable for his actions, and acts accordingly. Don't tell me if a girl or a guy is over the age of...let's say 12 they don't know what they are doing. Kids these days know what is going on....they just don't want to deal with the consequences. If the girl spoken of in another answer was bragging, she knows what she was doing and also, has a great inferiority complex about herself, and is trying to make herself look cool....which she will NEVER be. Be accountable.

Absolutley! People need to be more aware that they can and do affect the people around them. Underage girls in particular should be made aware of this, because the men they are lying to are facing a serious charge that cannot be removed from their record and they deserve the chance to make an informed decision. (like walking away)

Most definitely. Lying about something that might get someone in trouble should definitely be punishable. I think the person who lied should be MUCH more accountable than the other person.

Um, if they were underage, they technically can't be held responsible.

If a guy is going to sleep with a girl he doesn't know, he's taking a pretty stupid risk.

Save it for someone you know and not some little girl who you just met.
