first my deepest sympathies for your losses. one thing i can say is it isnt your fault and i hope you have no guilt. all you can do is follow your doctors advice, eat well, get plenty of rest, keep your stress levels down. i remember reading somewhere that when a m/c occurs it is because the fetus wasn't developing correctly or the uterus was unable to sustain the pregnancy. since the doctors cant find a reason why i would wait at least a year before trying again to give your body, heart and emotions time to heal. good luck to a kiss your little girls because even though you have sustained 2 major losses you also have 2 incredible blessings. good luck to you!

I'm sorry to hear what you are going through. It really sucks.. I know because I've had 3 miscarriages myself and only one live birth. But I have learned a thing or two in the process. Sometimes there is something they can do and sometimes there isn't. It all depends on the cause. If (God forbid) there is another miscarriage, ask to have the baby diagnosed for chromosomal abnormalities. That is one common cause of miscarriage. Other common causes are lack of progesterone. This is easily solved. When you find out you are pregnant again have them check this early on.. Or just get on progesterone supplementation just in case. Another thing that can go wrong is that you could have a clotting problem...which could cause a blood clot in the umbilical cord or make the lining inhospitable. Or you could have developed antibodies against pregnancy.

Bottom line is there are many many things that could cause miscarriages and some of them are treatable. You need to get a complete workup done by a reproductive endocrinologist that specializes in miscarriages and infertility.

Good luck to you =)

Unfortunately no.....I also had a little girl and wanted just one more and I had two miscarriages in a row...(4 weeks, 9 weeks) I did get pregnant again and had a healthy baby boy...I`m also 18 1/2 weeks pregnant and everything is okay...I`m so sorry for your losses but don`t give up hope yet...Doctors normally aren`t to concerned until you`ve had 3 or more but there are test you can have done on you and your partner to find out if there is an underlying cause...Good luck to you...

There is really nothing that can be done for them.. most miscarriages happen to some type of chromosome problems. I have had 2 mc's myself and one was b/c the baby had Turner's syndrome. I have a 5yr old and now one on the way 33wks today.
Just take good care of yourself and take folic acid daily to prepare your body or even prenatal vitamins. These happen for a reason.. that is only way I got through the losses . Good luck.

I dont know about in your case, but sometmes problems in your uterus can cause miscarriages. I would think the doctor would have checked you out for this. Were you girls C-Section? you could have scar tissue in there from them that would cause the placenta to not attatch properly. If your doctor cant figure it out, I would guess that there isnt much you can do.

I have a friend that cant have boys. She cant hold the water for them, she had to terminate 2 of them, if she hadnt they wouldnt have developed and they would have been still born or die from complications. Maybe you have the same problem and your body termintated them before you knew the problem. I would ask your doctor to moniter you closley with your next one, and see if it works. Good Luck
