I have breast cysts and would like to go on birth control...
i heard that birth control may interfere with my cysts.. is this true?

will they not let me go on it?

I have the same thing. My doctor encouraged me to get the pill. It helps with the cysts and it helps a lot with the pain. You may need to try a few different pills before you get it right. Ask about the lower dosage ones (try Yaz). There should be no problem with you going on the pill. Good luck.

Birth control is the leading cause of ovarian cysts, and since you have breast cysts, I would say if is not safe for you to be put on birth control. The hormones in birth control will only make the cysts grow larger and maybe cause even worse problems like cancer.

what you have to do now is to see an oncologist regarding that cysts..and after that maybe the doctor can recommend what will be the next step before taking anything...because birth controls may sometimes aggravate the condition...
