Actually most premed requirements are chemistry, along wiht physics and bio. Check with the colleges you want to attend, as requirements vary somewhat. You also have to look at what kind of school you want to attend. There is the standard allopathic school that awards MD degrees, Osteopathic schools which in addition to everything the MD schools do also learn to do manipulative treatments, and these grant a DO degrees. They can still practice in any specialty. Last there is the podiatric schools, which award the DPM. These doctors specialize in foot an ankle medicine only.

mostly biology, chemistry, advanced math classes. Speak with your counselor or academic adviser and make your major Pre-Med biology. They will pick the classes you need in order to recieve a degree for that major. You must do well in math and biology and maintain a high GPA to get into med school. But a great med school? It depends where you live. In Michigan, Wayne State University, University of Michigan, and Michigan State University have the best medical schools after graduating with a major.

Biochemistry defnitely for pre-med. You also have to take oragnic chemistry, (basic biology and chemistry of course).

You would likely have to major in biochemistry or something. That's the normal path for those entering medical school.

Good medical schools, well the obvious - harvard, brown, stanford, cornell, UPenn, UCSF, Washington U in ST Louis...

Biology is key. Most schools have their own PreMedical programs anyways, though. Also, some top medical schools would be Harvard University, Yale University, University of Virginia, University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University, Stanford University, and Brown University.

Take physics right away... you'll regret it if you end up having to take it right before the MCATs. Also, you don't generally choose from a buffet of medical schools unless you get really lucky - you take when you get into.
