Why are they blue? They should be purple!

well if u change the settings on ur tv they turn purple

The artist liked the color blue better. At about the same time a cartoon called Blackstar came out they wanted their little people to be blue but went with purple b/c of the Smurfs beat them to it.
They were called Trobbits and were like the seven dwarfs.

They're not purple for the same reason they're not green, or red; that's just the way they are and you should love them anyway.
