Just curious, is Trinity Blood's first season over? Was that the final episode?

I really like this show. Anyone know whether or not they're going to continue the serie?

Sorry to inform you but there won't be a second season and the creator of Trinity Blood (which was a novel then adapted into anime) died few years ago so it will be very difficult to make another season.
