As a Yankee fan, I love the Red Sox. They Consistently think that they can compete with the Yankees and almost always come up short. Every year they talk their smack on how they are going to beat the Evil Empire and over take the Yanks. The Yankee's don't even bother worrying about the SOX. Every year it is our division to lose, because everyone already assumes that we are going to win it.

I've lived in St. Louis since I was 3, so I'm a big Cardinals fan. But half my family is from north of Boston, so I'm also a Red Sox fan (I was really torn in the '04 World Series...but glad they broke the curse!).
So, being a Cards AND a Sox fan I am obligated to hate both the Yankees AND the Mets!

I like the REd Sox, my mother grew up in Boston so she is also a fan.

How couldn't you love the Yankees? Everything they've done for baseball, such as inflating salaries (and therefore forcing other small-market teams to follow suit by inflating ticket prices), giving millions to other teams via the luxury tax, and chewing up and spitting out former All-Stars. And George Steinbrenner, what a really, really great guy! There's always A-Rod, my favorite mediocre $250 million player! Speaking of $250 million, isn't that about how much the Yankees spent last year to get knocked out the first round of the playoffs? (Ouch!)

apparently ALOT of people do...especially some Yankee fans!
Even a Phillies fan tried to tell me I shouldn't be sportin' Sox gear in Clearwater where Phillies do spring training....
but it's OK
I just smile and say GO RED SOX!
AND reminded the Phillies fan that we were BOTH in Devil Rays country, and should probably be watchin' BOTH our backs!

Only losers who like to support people spending countless amounts of money on players that either take Steroids, make there faces look like baseball gloves, and betray there other teams so they can get more money.
