I saw the preview for this movie just a while back and im not even sure if its out in or out of theaters yet. I think Owen Wilson is in it, and its about the military creating a weapon that is controlled without actually flying it but then it gets struck by lightning and begins selecting its own targets. Movie is called Stealth.
In the near future, the Navy develops a fighter jet piloted by an artificial intelligence computer. The jet is placed on an aircraft carrier in the Pacific to learn combat manuevers from the human pilots aboard. But when the computer develops a mind of its own, it's the humans who are charged with stopping it before it incites a war

i think its stealth. it came out a while ago but u pry can rent it somewhere. its good.
