i have been playing this game for a while and i keep hearing about all kinds of mods for it. i found a website that i can download these mods, when it asks me if i want to open or save my download i dont know what to do. where do i save it when i save it. whenever i saved it the last few times i tried it ended up jacking my game all up to the point that i could not even get it to run. i would really like to install the tomahawk general mod the most if anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it. thankyou

You have to save the file first. Be careful where you download this stuff from too, as it could be something you don't want. (like a virus)
Some mods are designed to only run with a certain version of the game. Make sure you check that before downloading.

Move downloaded file to installed directory, eg.
C:\Program Files\Command & Conquers Generals Zero Hour
and extract or run the file.
