I can only guess what you really meant to type. So, my guess is
SYMMETRY: 1. Exact correspondence of form and constituent configuration on opposite sides of a dividing line or plane or about a center or an axis. See Synonyms at proportion.
2. A relationship of characteristic correspondence, equivalence, or identity among constituents of an entity or between different entities: the narrative symmetry of the novel.
3. Beauty as a result of balance or harmonious arrangement.

The word is symmetry. In what context do you want it defined?
It is mainly used in Mathematics. Anyway, a simple layman's definition would be something with balanced proportions - like what you see on the left is exactly what you see on the right from the center as the point of reference. A mirror image is a good example.

aaa.bbb.ccc.bbb.aaa

The opposite is asymmetry, meaning "absence of balanced proportions."

aaa.bb.ccc.b.aa

I hope this helps.

If you mean symmetry, it's when something's the same on both sides of a line (if the line was down the middle).

uhmm...symmetry? Yeah, I tihnk that's what you meant. Anyway, symmetry is when something is the same on both sides. For example, butterflies are symmetrical. If you fold one side over, it will match the other side. Hope I helped!
