Interesting answers, while I usually caluclate and keep records in Kilometers, one figure in miles that I do remember is that the earth is 93,000,000 miles from the sun, yet some people say that Venus, which is closer to the sun than Earth is 168,884,986 miles.

Oh well, maybe they moved it and didn't tell me.

Anyway, I looked at my solar system data and could find nothing that the figure 168884986 miles relates to, so I then went and looked at it relationship to the speed of light, and it is pretty close to he distance light travels in 15 minutes.

Aside for that, I can't find anything that it would relate to.

It is to exact to be the diameter of a red giant. I trid comparing the diffrences betweent he average distances between planets and nothing came even close.

I don't know what that number is. . .

A red giant star might be that big. The orbit of Venus has about that diameter, and the distance from Mars to the Sun is a little less than that.

im not sure what youre aking but mars is about 186000000 miles from the sun. but if your talking about just comparing two objects then i would have to say your talking about a distance of about 2 astonmical units. or 2 A.U.

168,884,986 miles from where to where? That about the distance of Venus from the Sun.

The orbit of Neptune is 7,301,391,473 miles in radius.
