Look for secretary jobs or even telemarketing jobs, they tend to be fairly easy jobs and pay much better than service sorts of jobs. We all know how important nutrition is during pregnancy, make sure you have a vitamin that provides 1000 mcg of folic acid, and if you can't afford food apply for WIC. Fill out the FAFSA (chances are you will get government grants to help put you through school and cover other miscellaneous expenses without having to pay it back), get enrolled in school - this is going to be the best way to achieve personal success and attain a higher paying job.

You can do it girl, we're here for you. Get to know other soon-to-be parents so that when you do need to go to work/school you can help each other out with free child care, if you have family as an option ask for as much support as you can from them. Additionally, you may or may not be religious but the church is often a great charitable resource.

There's always Welfare, but once people start on "The Dole", they usually fall into a cycle that's hard to break. Once you have the child, you may rationalize how daycare is too costly and that 1/3 of your paycheck goes to daycare and that it doesn't even make sense to work. It goes on and on and then you just become a burden to your fellow citizens.

Here's an actual useful idea. In every city in America, we have Pregnancy care clinics/vans/groups that are basically Christian outreach groups that exist to prevent women from turning to abortion as an answer. Now before you go nuts on me, I am not suggesting for even a second that you consider abortion. However, if you go to one of these groups, often they offer low cost or free sonograms and, faith based moral support to keep you in a positive state of mind, and even financial help to cover a month or two of rent or other costs.

If there's anything that these well meaning folks despise, its Planned Parenthood or anything related to abortion. Turning to them for some temporary assistance may work for you. Once you have the child though, these groups tend to drop you like a hot potato, mission accomplished and they can move onto their next rescue mission. But by that time you can hopefully go back to work and help yourself.

get a job dont go on welfare i am a single mother and i have a job i bring my daughter with me so no need to pay for day care try getting a job at a day care or on a school bus. or local YMCA show your child a better way in life
