Well, my kids are all grown and on their own. But while they were at home I always told them that "You can ask me anything." I might have told them "no" sometimes or "yes" with stipulations. So,I say ask away, put your fears to rest. She may buy one herself while you're picking out the one you want......It could happen!!!! :)

If you can't buy one on your own then maybe you shouldn't be purchasing one.
If you ask me, they're totally overrated.
Perm wedge, unsanitary, and less flattering than other types of lingerie.
Still...if you insist. Maybe you could first ask her what she thinks about thongs...then, if her reactions are positive, try cleverly inserting something about you getting a thong in some way or another.

Do you live at home? Who buys the majority of your clothing? Have you reached the old age of 18, yet? Why do you want to buy one? Is it because you have a friend who has one? Speak with your mother and let her know that you like them. And if she does not agree with your decision to get one, let her know that you will definitely respect her decision and will settle for seamless panties that will flatter your little fanny. Then give her a big hug and kiss and go and do your homework.

Why do you need a thong? There is truely no real point. Or, just ask her about it, if you really want one.

If you have to ask her, you're too young.
