Conception can be a very trying time. The first thing is to keep your head up! Followed very closely by seeing your gyno and making sure that you have had recent pap smears and exams. A diet rich in Folic Acids has been proven to help significantly raise the odds of conception. Something that your doc will be very adamant about, is that you do not smoke. Of course, no alcohol is a given. Make sure to track your menstrual cycle and feel free to use at home ovulation tests to help you better understand your cycle. Your gyno and your pharmacist can recommend the best test for you. If after a year of trying, you have no success, a fertility test may be a good idea. Try these websites too! Good luck!

Wow.... you got the whole shallow end of the gene pool answering your question huh? What idiots!
The best way to increase your chances are to track basal body temps, use ovulation predictor kits, you can buy an ovulation saliva scope and use a lubrication called Pre~seed. Make sure you are having sex before ovulation and at ovulation. you are most fertile 24-48 hours before and up to 24 hours after. Good Luck!!

Go to the doctor and voice your concerns...you may need some tests run to make sure all is working right. It took me seven years to get pregnant...seriously tilted uterus, but I finally was able to have two cute little girls. Good luck and get check out as soon as possible!

If you have been TRYING to get pregnant for 2 years, I would suggest seeing a fertility doctor. You could look into getting a home ovulation test to find your best days with the biggest chance for pregnancy.

1) Get married. What are you finances like?
Two years is NOTHING. How strong is your relationship? That's not how much you love him, but how strong your relationship is. You NEED a strong relationship to survive a child.
2) Why the urgency for a baby? What is your rush? Why can you not wait until you get married, get a constant stream of financial support, maybe own your own home, etc?
Just get married. If you're ready to commit to a child, you can commit to marriage first.

Because you are not married and don't have a real commitment!
Get married, get your bf to stand by you and a baby and I guarantee you, you will get pregnant.
It is not fair to bring a baby into an uncommitted relationship!!!!
