See, you get all kinds of garbage answers on here, and you don't learn anything. This is a simple research question that you can answer for yourself on the internet in about half the time it takes to post a question on Yahoo!Answers.

More importantly, you get information you can trust, and much more useful information, including diagrams, photographs, tables, and charts. Equally importantly, you will begin to learn more about where to find the information you need.

So there are a number of advantages to doing your own homework instead of wasting time on here. Just do an internet search on "planets in the solar system" or just "solar system."

An astronomical unit is the distance from the earth to the sun and is roughly 92,960,000 miles.

Because of the elliptical (oval) orbits of the planets the can be closer or further away than the figures given.
