Getting? It always has been and people eat it up because i guess it's easier to settle for crap than to demand quality from the networks. Perhaps people really are being dumbed down have you ever listened to some of the people that call in on Washington Journal on C-Span. Heck when I was a kid(like back before they had Cable TV or DVDs and dinosaurs roamed the Earth) we had to know how to do a math problem by hand on paper and show our work before we were ever allowed to use a calculator and today if the calculator craps out the kids are lost. Ever see the new cash registers they got pictures of the food too hard for the kid to punch up $1.99, let alone figure how much change you got coming back if you give him $2.00.

The giftes of Kelly and Carrie are well worth it. The ratings are getting larger and larger. American Idol will be with us for years.

That's cause it's the guys' night. There are only two guys that are any good. But, there are three or four women that can really SING!
I really think Simon hates Ryan Seacrest...I just watch for them to interact! It's always entertaining.

its always been lame. i only like sort of like the first week cus the bad people are on the show and its funny to hear the bad ppl. when they start to get good its boring

Personally, I think it is. But, I do kinda agree with someone who posted before, it mostly the season. Maybe all the good singers were to scared to audition.

I've actually recently picked up on watching it. I hated the idea of it in the beginning but now I'm starting to get hooked.

I normally get bored during this phase because there are still some people who are not good as they need to be. This season is really struggling.

not the whole show... just this season is kinda of lame. Hopefully it will get better though.

American idol isn't too previous for me even although im Australian, i admire American idol although i choose we'd carry back Australian Idol so i might get to observe the two variations
