I really dislike long lines and crowds so I find Disneyland to be just a nightmare - and most of the rides aren't that great. You only get to go on a few all day cause it takes so long to get through the line.

I dunno, I actually like the place. *shrug* But that's just me. However, I have a few things in my favor...1) I get in for free...2) I have kids...3) I don't go to Disneyland in the Summer, on weekends, or on holidays (those are the times when it's the most crowded, duh)...4) I'm REALLY laid-back and love to be silly and have fun no matter where I am, Disneyland is a good place for that...5) I get great discounts on food and merchandise, so it's not nearly as expensive for me to go. By the way, I get these "kick-backs" because I used to work in the resort as well as I still have friends who work there. So yeah, from my point of view, the place is actually really fun. But I can see how some people could get all sour about it.
If the crowds are what's really bothering you, go in September or January-February and go during the week and NOT on a holiday. And for even less crowds, go on a rainy day. A rainy February Wednesday is awesome...you can get through the lines in 10-15 minutes flat (or less even).
But if you're just really not into being silly and getting into your kiddie side, then I guess you'd be better off at Magic Mountain instead. *shrug*

Sorry, I disagree. I have been 35 times in the past 2 years (and I unfortunately live 2.5 hours away). I rarely have to wait in lines. Been to Disney World as well. I prefer Disneyland, honestly. But to each his own. You just have to know when to go and the tips and tricks of rides.

The trick is to know when to go..
I love disneyland and we have annual passes and we are actually there about 6 to 10 times a month.
We never are in lines and everytime we go..we do everything.
You must only go on the weekend..Thats worst

I USED TO LIVE ABOUT 15 MINS AWAY FROM THERE AND WENT ALMOST EVERY WEEKEND SO YES I UNDERSTAND THE WAY U FEEL
