Why does my why does my Roomba® Discovery Vacuuming Robot keep stopping?

I have changed the filter, made sure the battery was fully charged, cleaned the brushes, empty the dust container yet it operates for a couple of minutes, then stops.

I have read in the reviews, that these things have their problems, send it back to the manufacture...

Either it's broken or it wants union wages....
