We definitely can. Marbury has stepped up and it has showed in our recent record. All we need is for Curry to be more consistent as well. And it wouldn't hurt having David Lee back in the lineup--he makes a big difference. But I think that the playoffs are well within our reach.

In the East there are about 10 teams that have a chance at gettting one of the 8 playoff spots and the Knicks are that 10th team. I think it will really depend on if Steve Francis can play through his chronic knee problems and put up numbers like he did in their last game when he scored 26 points. There is very little chance that he'll be able to play every game with that kind of pain so I think the Knicks chances are slim at making the playoffs unless Miami, Orlando, and New Jersey fall completely out of contention.

probably not no. he was a steady hand at the offensive end. but i think if other players see this as an opportunity to pick up the slack, then sure.
marbury has posted some decent lines and if he continues to lead like that, he could help make up for the loss of crawford.
in saying so, i dont think the Knicks will be a high seed even IF they do make the post season

In my opinion, Knicks and playoffs still shouldnt be used in the same sentence. Unless its to say they arent going.
They will make it soon though. They arent as bad as they used to be. But its too close, and there are a few better teams than them. BUT that being said, the East is overall pretty bad anyway, so anything could happen.
I would say that they dont make it though

the knicks have no possible way of making the playoffs. Their coach is Isiah Thomas. So glad the pacers got rid of him....now jermaine o'neal, donnie walsh, and the rest of the crew.

Nope...unless Steve Francis or Starbury steps up along with Eddie Curry and Q-Richardson....David Lee needs to be healthy....
they can sneak in...but will lose the 1st round..
