I regularly fluff my pillows in the dryer. I put them in for about 20 to 30 minutes on a heat cycle with a dryer sheet. My sons pediatrician told me to do this about every two weeks to help with his allergies(only i don't use the dryer sheet with his). The heat kills the dust mites and helps to fluff your pillow and the dryer sheet helps it to smell fresh and clean. And now I don't have to buy new pillows as often and we don't need those plastic covers!

I put my husbands feather pillows in the dryer, on fluff with a downy sheet. That usually will get them puffy.

On the other type of pillow stuffing, I pull from both sides of the pillow to unflatten the material. I start at the top and work my way
down the middle and along the sides. Then I put it on one of the sides and push down to help puff it out.

I know this sounds like a lot of work, but it does work.

A nice gentle soft man might do the trick... my wife uses me as a pillow all the time... highly recommended.
