this is like if you went to someone elses house and downloaded their sings into your iPod. When you go home how do you get those songs on your iPod to go onto your iTunes?

That might be stealing. To back-up your own music to iTunes so that you don't lose it if your iPod goes kaput, you will need a ripping program like those discussed at ilounge.com

First, buy the song you would like (on Napster, EMusic, etc.) Then you should have a file that has all bought songs. Right click, then click 'Copy to CD or device'. There should be a windows media. Under where is says Copy, click the little arrow and put whatever you have (copy to Ipod, copy to Sansa, etc.) Click copy, then wait for about 2 min. and there you go.

You cannot go from ipod to itunes, or ipod to pc for that matter. You can only transfer from pc/itunes to ipod
