LOL..... sorry im laughing, but a smoke cloud that big would be hilarious!!!

Seriously.... check your oil level and make sure it is not over the fill line on the dipstick..... I had a truck that if you over filled it it would smoke like it was on fire. You are burning oil..... I would put my money on that you have it overfilled.

Doubtful it's oil, white smoke is generally coolant, but I've seen stranger stuff. Smell it, if it has a sweet smell to it it's likely coolant. If that be the case it's almost certainly a head gasket. Check your oil, if it looks like chocolate milk you have a serious problem that needs to be fixed asap. Drain the oil *immediately*

Head gasket replacement generally starts at around $300 and goes up quickly from there depending on difficulty. If you don't fix it you run the very real risk of ruining your engine.

Take it to a qualified shop quick though. Most will give a free estimate.

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with that car. If it is an automatic with a vacuum line coming off the transmission the governor could be leaking transmission fluid into the motor. Broke rings is another possible cause, a compression or leak down test will show. If the smoke is really steam then you've blown a head gasket. Good luck.

White smoke means you are burning coolant, blue or black would mean oil burning. Check your coolant level. If it is low, I would say you have either a bad intake manifold gasket, bad head gasket, or a cracked head.

Also check the oil see if it has a 'chocolate milk' look to it. If it does, you are getting water in the oil and you need to stop driving the vehicle until it is repaired. Also remove the oil cap and look for any white/milky looking buildup on the bottom side of the cap, if it is present, stop driving the vehicle until it is repaired.

It is also possible that it is a very light blue color and it could be oil burning, which is either from being overfilled, bad rings, or bad valve stem seals.
