To finish with the same record as UNC, we were picked to finish 8th in the ACC. When will UVA get the respect that they deserve? I hope that after this season is over that some big name recruits will take a second look at what UVA has to offer. If we finish 1st in the ACC tournament we still will not make the top 10??

uuuh the rankings is a popularity contest and obviously virginia isn't very popular. UVA will go ahead and go back to being the regular UVA and be a 5 seed in the NCAA tourney and be a 1st round loser to a 12 seed. Choke written all over that team.

rankings are always based on last season, so if 2 schools have the same record this year, the ranking will go in favor of who had the better season in the past

A lot of the teams they lost to are sucky. This is the best answer.
