Usually they will admit you. If you are in active labor they will more than likely admit you. Especially if you are that far along.

It's hard to say since labor varies from woman to woman. If it is a first child, they are very likely to keep you, as long as signs of active labor are present. Also, the mother's current health situation, such as a fever or any other condition that may cause complications, are taken into consideration. If the pregnancy is not the first, the history of previous pregnancies will also be included. There is no way to answer this question in a definite manner. It would be entirely up to the doctor at the time. I hope this helps answer your question.

It depends on how far dialated you are... I was three centemeters dialated, and they would have sent me home, if it were not for the fact that my water had broken, leaving me susceptible to infection. It also depends on the hospital's policies. You can call and ask the nurse in the maternity ward what their conditions are for admittance. Each place is a little different, and their conditions are based on the hospital, as well as your specific doctor's conditions. If you have a high-risk pregnancy, are carrying multiples, etc, you will have a different set of criteria than a "normal", "by the book" kind of pregnancy.

It depends on how dilated you are. Usually if you're not 4cm they'll send you home. With my first I was sent back home at 1cm, and was back 5 hours later at 8cm. With my second I was 3-4 cm but they kept me because I had preeclampsia and my blood pressure was through the roof so I had to be closely monitored.

I was dilated to a 3 for 2 weeks before my daughter was born. They admitted me to the hospital when my water broke. It also depends on the policy of the hospital and the wishes of your physician.

They should admit you!! If you are 100% effaced it means that your cervix is thinned out all the way, like paper thin!

It just depends on all the facts. Depending on your dilation, and is this your first or second ,,, just not enough info, and of course should be evaluated by your MD,,,when in doubt the best thing to do is call him (or her). GOOD LUCK!

it depends how dilated you are. if your are 100 percent effaced though, I imagine they may admit you and possibly even induce labor.
