I've taken my baby to the chiropractor since he was born. She said it is very normal for the back or shoulders to make noises and is the body's way of correcting itself. Any concerns, ask your Ped.

My son's arms and legs crack at times, I asked the doctor about it and he said not to worry too much about it. I would assume it would be the same with a babies back, but ask your doctor just to be sure.

I am the mother of two wonderful kids and the same thing happened with them. Some times it freaks me out though. I'm sure it's ok because my son is three and he runs around like a crazy man. It obviously didn't phase him a bit.
