What should I wear over my leggings for an 80's party?

I'm going to an 80's party. I'm wearing a pink and white vintage shirt, white footless leggings, some vintage canvas shoes. I originally was going to wear a denim mini skirt but it doesn't look right... anyone have any suggestions of what else I can wear over the leggings?

Multi-coloured leg warmers should be worn OVER white tight type of things, like 3/4 pants or stockings or somehting. If you wear a skirt, something colourful and poofy.

Go with the mini skirt It might not set well with you right now but I dont see how it could look bad and I think why its not setting with you right now is because its an 80's look and your not so used to it but it's coming back in ! =)

I think the sweater sounds like a great idea but I just don't think I could go that route I would feel like I had no pants on like naked!

I would suggest an over sized hoodie (like so big it is practically a mini dress) with the hood cut out so it is off the shoulders.

leg warmers and heels, the skirt is good but the style for the eighties was a long sweatshit with the neck line cut and hanging off the sholder

don't wear the shirt, but instead where a long sweater that goes almost to your knees w/ a belt around the waist, make sure the sweater's neck is cut like the neck of the sweatshirt in Flash Dance.
