For me is it easier to love others because you can love them they way they are, even with their faults. It is harder to love myself because I often feel inadequate, like I am not good for myself.

I guess it depends on how you look at it...

Kool. All good answers. But if you don't love yourself, then it could be hard to love others?

Others. I take care of myself, but I find that my life is much better when I am treating everyone else as I would want to be treated.

For me God says to love others as I love myself. So I love others before I love myself. I do not unlove myself...I do consider others first and know that I will receive the love that I gove out back in some way.

We can't really love ourselves or others unless we love the one who made us first. It is just a perverted reflection of love or actually a type of lust not real love unless one understand that we are all eternal parts and parcels of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna,Allah, Vishnu, Jehovah, etc. When one actually loves they love everyone and that love begins with God. For more information on Bhakti or Loving Devotional Service to every ones Lord. read harekrishnatemple.c Read Bhagavad Gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- tells how to actually love. My answer would be God first then everyone.

myself first not because i'm selfish but because some people are hard to care about causing problems in life. you have to love yourself first to love others as the saying goes, but i believe you can understand yourself better than some. some people i love as much as myself.
