That's not really the best think to keep fish in, but the best idea would be two male guppies. Plan on cleaning this thing at least once a week though.... you might want to rethink the idea of putting fish in there.

If you don't want to have to clean up after the fish, you shouldn't get a live fish. Fish are living creatures and living creatures poop and pee. No fish should be kept in an unfiltered, unheated habitat like that glass with an owner uninterested in keeping it clean. Goldfish get too big and are definitely messy. Bettas need water at 78 degrees F or warmer in order to remain lively and colorful. They also known jumpers.
If you really want fish in it, a guppy is probably your best bet, but you really shouldn't have more than one. Even with just one, a filtered 2 gallon would need a partial water change every week or two, so your unfiltered glass would need it every other day.
Don't take everything out of the glass and clean it everytime, and don't replace 100% of the water either. The fish need the bacteria that grow on the gravel and inside of the tank in order to process the ammonia that builds in the water between water changes. Without the bacteria, your fish will be living in chemicals that painfully burn its gills and internal organs, eventually weakening and killing it. Replacing 20-25% of the water will help keep the toxins diluted while leaving the bacteria undisturbed.

Alright, here's the deal. A few male guppies would be perfect, you can get a smallworld filter and a little aerator. Do not, under any circumstances, get a goldfish. They require a ten gallon minimum and emit a lot of waste due to their body mass. Also, a betta would be suitable for a 2 gallon tank. You have to clean the tank once a week. I recommend large river rocks on the bottom, as they don't trap grit like gravel does. You could get a couple of neon tetras, but they're really happiest in groups of five or more. My recommendation would be a betta, or fighting fish. They come in all sorts of colors, different fin types, and really have a lot of personality. If fish aren't really your style, you could always put in a frog or some shrimp or snails. or some combination of all of the above. Or, better yet, put a nice peace lily, or some aquarium plant, in there and buy a tank for your fish. ^.^

Sorry, not a good idea. You could probably get one Beta (they fight each other), but they prefer a small container, or a gold fish or maybe two, but you really need an aquarium where you can add a filter and pump and heater. The water with goldfish would get dirty in a matter of days.
Yah, Kyle is right. I forgot. You could put some gravel in the bottom and add some live plants that would generate oxygen and help use up the fish waste.

You can get goldfish they are the cleanest of fish and you can usually put 4 or 5 in 2 gallons if they are small ones. Do not want to get any saltwater fish they have to have an aquarium. You need to use bottled water in the glass and make sure it is clean so they live once you get them. Good Luck!

I tink you should get clown loaches, they will help keep your tank clean. The best thing is that these clown loaches eat algae along with other kinds of fish food. But watch them closely for any diseases, they are suseptible(sp) to different diseases. Ask a pet store that you trust for more information on these clown loaches. I have 2 clown loaches and have had them for a little over a year, they only got sick twice and are still going strong.
