I've always wondered why American teens are always having sex, always on drugs I mean not all are but most are and this is not the way it normally was. Why do teens in other countries have lower rates of sexual activity?

Because it's against the law to spank your children.. because their parents aren't strict enough... because other countries know something america doesn't...??

Our problems with lack of morality, ethics, respect for life(abortion, shootings in school), and any number of social ills can be traced directly to the mid fifties when the supreme court started attacking prayer in our schools. Back then the biggest problems were excessive talking, an occasional beer, or shooting spit wads in class. My how times have changed. The Bible says "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom". That means respect for God. Unfortunately that is what has gone down the tubes in this country especially by many young people. Things will not get better until we change our attitudes.

I don't think that American teens do drugs and have sex more that most other comparable countries. Actually, the teen pregnancy and drug rate are going down, and to say most teens are always on drugs is not true. Most means the "larger part of" right, so why is there more non-drug-doing teenagers in America than those that do drugs?

Our society is overly permissive. We tend to turn our backs and think the problem does not exist. Television and movies glorify sex and the use of drugs as recreational. Other countries are catching up. Look at the Aids epidemic in Africa and the number of unwed females in the Ukraine. It's just that we are one of the most popular and looked up to countries that we appear to be the worst. Just like movie stars we are trying to escape the spotlight.

Its called availability of sex, drugs, and violence...
Dont tell me its rates are going down...'cuz increase in population doesn't counted in....
In other countries they got morals, ethics, and culture...we dont have none...we just borrowed from others and made ours....lol

minus guides ......other countries are living life for happiness america lives it for meaning ,striving to succeed . they do not understand it yet that happiness is everything or really being blessed . the rich man no one remembers .but the one who gave everything away is always remembered in a loving way .

Well it has alot to do with media.Also alot of parents these days are afraid to discipline their children.I have seen this first hand.My neighbors grandaughter slapped her and I said I would woop her ***!My neighbor said oh I cant do that I would go to jail.

If you think this is the case, you've never heard of places like Amsterdam, Thailand, or Brazil. They have way more sex there. Just thinking about it makes me horny.
