Where are some good places for a teen to get a pretty, summery dress to wear to school? Something cute and colorful, springy or summery, preferably halter or spagetti straps...
just something cute and appropriate to wear to high school. oh and not too expensive, no more than $30 or so.

Old Navy + Forever XXI have some really great deals.
Personally, I can't think of anyone designing a sundress better than C&C California. They run you about $110, but they're great quality, and the best company for beachy styles.

I get mine at Wet Seal and Forever 21. There are some cute dresses in charlotte russe, too. There prices aren't that bad. dresses are about 20+. nothing too much to hurt your credit card or something like that.

Deb is a really great store for cute formal/informal dresses. They have sales occasionally, so make sure to look out for those. I managed to get my prom dress there for $20! Whoo Hoo!

I was just looking on oldnavy.com. There were some really cute ones, and very reasonably priced. Also, look at local thrift stores. You'll actually find really nice stuff if you're willing to be patient and really look.

-they are about $10 over your budget, but they are really cute because if your gonna buy a piece of clothing, you should get a nice expensive piece. because if its good, you'll keep it for long. its better to have fewer good pieces of clothes than millions of bad clothes. although as everyone above me suggested, forever 21 and old navy have really cute stuff too. if you go with my advice:)
