Sometimes I just want to tell her that she's not the boss of me, but we've been friends since preschool and I don't want to mess things up!

she's not the boss of you. you have to talk to her and tell her how you feel. if she's really your friend then she'll understand and do something to try and change. if you can't be honest with you're friends, what good are they?

The best way to take care of this is simple. Remember the last time she said something to boss you around. Wait a few days and then say the same thing back to her! When she says hey that's not nice... say you are sorry and that neither of you should talk to each other like that. The next time she bosses you around... remind her how she felt when you said it to her. She will then get it. It will go fine! Good Luck!

Don't ever let anyone boss you around, unless they are your parent or your actual boss at a job. Your friend likes to be in control and you are letting her. That's probably why she hangs out with you. Start standing up for yourself and don't do what she says. Next time she tells you to do something, simply tell her to do it herself.

Please don't go through life being a doormat! You've got to stand up for yourself. If she is truly your friend, she will respect your opinion. Talk to her about this, and let her know how you feel. You value her friendship greatly, think she is wonderful, etc, but you cannot allow her to boss you around anymore. Do the above in a non-accusatory way. "You may not even realize you're doing this, but..."

Good luck!

if she is a good friend to you then you should not have a problem telling her that you dont like how she bosses you around and if she doesnt care or not listen then she really is not a good friend she has no right to boss you around...

I have a friend that does that too.....and no, you need to stand up for yourself, obviously don't be mean about it but you can calmly give your opinion about things and tell her how you feel. A true friend would listen to you and accept what you have to say.

Just be affirmative and tell her she is not you're master and that friends do not tell each other what to do. If she cannot accept that, than she is not a true friend anymore and let her go.

No, i does not convey regret. i might enable her be conscious of that she's now not unique and if she needs to tell people who you're copying her to make herself experience extra desirable suitable it somewhat is remarkable. you're mature sufficient to now not grant a crap. you be attentive on your person form and what you like. She's probable pissy b/c she will have the capacity to't pull of what you should.
