at the time when Israel was given a state jews made up 35% of the population and were given 55% of Palestine.... Don't you think Germany should have given the Jews land in Germany???? I think the Palestinians are right to fight for what is theirs. After all Israel keeps taking more land and 2 months ago bulldozed 43,000 homes in Gaza... how would we feel if Canada or Mexico decided to do that to America and began bulldozing homes here? I'm certain we would fight. It's wrong and Israel needs to pay for war crimes against humanity.... yet Palestinians are called terrorist.... then what are the Israeli's?

If someone came and took 55% of your land ( or house ) you would want it back and might even resort to violence if no one, including law enforcement, helped you. That is what happened to the Palestinians in 1948-49 and the USA as well as the UN were major players. So the reality is, the USA helped the Israelis occupy and then takeover more than 1/2 off a country that was not theirs.

First we must correct an erroneous impression. There is no place called Palestine today, other than a town in Texas.
What WAS called Palestine until 1948 is now known as Israel.
The Zionists are the victims of Muslim terror, for the simple reason that they maintain a Jewish state, and the Arabs cannot bring themselves to live with this fact.
Israel is the only Jewish state in the whole world. The Arabs have 22 states. The Arabs are not willing to accept a Jewish state in their midst.
Israel thought that by leaving Gaza entirely in August 2005, that the Arabs would get their act together and develop their economy. Instead, the Arabs have seen fit to launch thousands of missiles at Israel's civilian population, intending to kill as many citizens as possible.
Israel, on the other hand, is trying to live in peace. When they do attack, it is with the clear objective of silencing the Arab terrorists. By international law, Israel is totally justified in its quest to protect its citizens. The Arabs are in total violation of international law by unprovoked attacking of innocent civilians in Israel.
The Palestinian Arabs could have had a state already, if they only behaved like civilized human beings. But they have proven time and again that they are not ready to behave, and so the Arabs will have to exist with "only" 22 states.
Now your answerers have present some false statistics, and they should be corrected. They are proving the charge that Arabs don't know how to count.
The mandate gave the Arabs 80 percent of Palestine. Then in 1948 the Arabs took another 60 percent of what remained of mandatory Palestine.
This left Israel with about 12 percent of the Palestinian mandate territory.
Thus, your answerers not only libel the Jews, but they also don't know how to do arithmetic!

The whole thing sickens me... neither is right to attack the other. The whole thing is all over religion, not right or wrong.
