By tall, I'm going with 6'6 and up. So my vote goes to Blake Schilb. He's 6'7, 220 and plays for Loyola Chicago. Not incredibly quick like a lot of these guys, but definitely effective. Has scored at least 17.0 a game the past three seasons. collegeinsider.com named him the Horizon League MVP over A.J. Graves.

this year there really are no outstanding tall point guards say over 6'6 but regardless of that as i have said all year and people around the nation will finnaly see aaron brooks is the best point guard in the nation hands down there is no one that even comes close to his performances this year he has single handedly won at least 4 games for the ducks in the closing seconds and runs one of the most difficult offenses in the nation absolutly effortlessly. keep an eye on oregon and aaron brooks. oregon will win the tourney bye the way.

Small guys are usually quicker. Tall guys can get off a better shot and dribbling may be easier because they have long arms. With the long arms they can steal and block better. However most tall PGs are not as quick as smaller ones.

there aren't many "tall" point guards in the game today, but acie law is 6'3", and he's the best PG in the nation, regardless of height, and i think drew neitzel is 6'2" as well...josh wright from syracuse is 6'6" or something like that and gets some time at PG but does not play there all the time

Greivas Vasquez, the outstanding point guard from Maryland, is 6'5''. He would have to be considered, especially given the fact he is only a freshman.
