mine says just mild soapy water, my daughters used wax once and you had to be very careful it was like ice with socks on. My kids at the time were using floor for skating and sliding before I came home and fell down on it.

Laminate flooring is basically the same as Arborite and Formica counter tops, but I think it is made to be somewhat harder than those products. Your best bet is to go to a building supply store and ask the "expert" in the flooring department. They have access to all the information on how to care for this and other types of flooring, etc.

I use something called Neutral an ounce per full bucket you can buy a bottle of concentrated at janitorial supply stores and hand washing I swear by also if you have a dry rag and as you wash you dry it seems to give the floor a nice shine. It can also be diluted in a spray bottle ( 3 squirts) and used for dusting it is a disinfectant as well

I used to work at a flooring store and what all the manufacturers recommend you mop with 1 cup white vinegar and 2 gallons hot water are all that is needed to keep your floors finish perfect.

I always just used some pine sol and a slightly damp mop. You cannot get laminate flooring like Pergo wet, or it will seep thru the cracks. (also the reason you shouldnt use it in a laundry or bathroom)
