I think my girlfriend is nutz! She has broken up with me and come back about 15 times in the last three months. She is torn between me and her parents...she is 27 years old and does not want to leave home. She is afraid her parents will be too sad if she leaves. Is it me or is this retarded? Her mommy runs her life. She has just broken up with me via email this eveing and we were supposed to be hanging out tonight. She led me to believe that everything was fine right up until she sent me this email...She wrote me a sweet email literally five minutes before! Is she psycho?

Run for your life before you get sucked into her warped reality.

I don't think she's psycho - she's insecure and immature for her age. Breaking up with someone via email is clearly not the behavior of an emotionally mature adult. At 27 years old, most people are more than eager to get out from under their parents' roof (I know I certainly was). If she's the "baby" of the family, she's clearly not ready to try any kind of independence.

no man shes not a psycho she is just a women.
you have to learn to understand women some times even they dint no what they want, if her mom runs her life she should get a job and be independent, shes not a psycho she has broken up with you because she doesn't no what she wants.
give her some time and then have a good long long talk with her seriously.
but it all depends in how you are treating her to are you treating her like a gentlemen and giving her all that love and little details ****?
i hope every thing turns out OK.

You have to move on. Don't take her back this time. You aren't doing yourself, or her, any favors by continuously taking her back. She will eventually have to learn to live on her own. She might have some sort of mental condition, but it sounds like she's really torn between you and her parents. You can't make her decisions for her, tell her you won't take her back anymore, that you deserve better than the constant mixed messages she's sending you.

She definitely needs help. I had a friend who had an abortion because she was afraid of what her mother would say. She was in her late twenties at the time. I think you need to move on or it will be the same thing going on and on and on. She needs to see where she is, break ties from the nest and grow up.

It's time to let this one go! If she's 27 and still THAT attached to her family, that's not going to change. You need an independent woman who's ready to cut the umbelical cord!

it sounds like she needs to grow up and realize she can't live with her parents forever. once she does things will go much smoother. have patience but if it gets to be too much or it's not better within the next month or so then move on

ur girlfriend may be nuts, but how do you feel about her??? do you see yourselves getting anywhere in life??? ask yourself whether you really have deep feeling for her or not - if not, find another gf before she comes back.......if you do - ask her to go on a vacation with you.....slowly help her live apart and eventually she'll see that she can without her parents feeling bad

Leave this one alone. One thing you do not need is a crazy girl in you life. Run from her. Get away from her as fast as you can.

lol! I've gone through similar. If she broke up with you, confirm the break up and let her go.

If she calls back and wants to get back together with you, let her know what exactly needs to change.
