My little cousin used my dell lap top the other day and put his head phones into the port they go in and jamed them in real hard.

I can still stick head phones in there and I can still hear a little bit of sound but I think its broke.

Is there a way to get this fixed? I have another section to plug in a Mic or something is there a way to maybe switch so I can plug my head phones into that port?

May be loosen. Use a magnify glasses and flash-light to look at if any of the side in the jack crooked. It's just not worth it to send it repair unless you still have the warrantee.

You could always go to Radio Shack or computer store buy a USB headphone for that or USB to RCA(female) adapter.

I don't know much about laptops.. but I'll give it a good guess.

If your sound card is integrated to your motherboard on your laptop, you can't fix it without buying a new motherboard.

If you have a stand-alone sound card that is not integrated, you could simply buy another sound card to replace the broken one.

You can find out this information by contacting your computer manufacturer.

Hope this helps! =)

You might be able to buy a USB adaptor that will accomodate a mini jack. Check out the iMic on griffintechnology.com.

Of course you might just get the jack fixed.
