O.K. - is it blistering? If not, you'll likely be in pretty good shape in the next day or so. But, get yourself a pan/bucket/container and put some ice and water in it. Stick that bad baby in there as long as you can stand, and as often as you can stand until you go to bed. Take some tylenol before you hit the sack.

IF It's blistering....head to the emergency room, a good nurse will know whether you have issues.

Stick your foot in a bucket of cool water for a while, and don't put any creams or ointments on it, they're oil-based, and they'll just hold in the heat and make the burn worse. Some aloe vera would be okay, because it's water based.

if it is not blistering, put it in some cold water and leave it in there. at this stage, that is the best that you can do. later on, put some burn cream on it (specifically burn cream or aloe vera - other creams like moisturiser are oil based and will make it burn even more).

if it is blistering, you will have to go to the dr. burns can get infected really easily, so it needs to be dressed properly, and they will need to keep an eye on it for infection.

dont put running water on it, instead place it in a bowl of iced water, that should take the burn out. then rub some type of aloe lotion on it, and relax, if it still burns, place a cool cloth on it for a while. repeat as needed.

Try putting on something with aloe in it, it may take awhile to have effect but you will feel better after a while, or you could see a doctor( though he'd probably tell you the same thing)
