It may not be as many as you think. The only real advantage is to learn about other cultures, but to do this you have to actually get out and spend the money you earn where you live, and not hang out with people from your own country the whole time while you are abroad. Perhaps you can save money, but if you do this at the expense of enjoying your life for a few years, it may not be worth the sacrifice.

In many cases: You will earn more, but you will pay much more tax, much much more for your apartment, much more for food, will most likely share accomodations with several people, and be pressured to send money home - thus leaving you spending your free time watching TV in your apartment instead of going out and doing something. Again, this is just a generalization.

If you don't send money home and go out & travel around the place you live it can be an enriching experience, otherwise it can be very frustrating and you will lose a few years of your life while your family gladly receives the money you send home to buy dire necessities such as DVD players and cellphones.

I think an accountant living in Manila that makes 40,000 pesos / month lives better than someone doing the same job in California for $5,000 / month after you deduct tax, accomodation, food, entertainment, etc. and you aren't 7,000 miles away from home.

There are jobs abroad, that pay better money than the phillipines.

I have heard that the greatest source of import income to the phillipines, is from their citizens working abroad and sending money back to their families.

But also be warned, the world is full of people waiting to take advantage of you. Be sure to research any foreign job, and living conditions and pay, Make sure the foreign country is involved with you coming to work.

The advantages of working in Europe are that you will be better paid for the hours and effort that you put in to the position.
Steer clear of Dubai, as this is an up-and-coming city who use cheap labour, especially people from the Philippines.
