It's normal. It's because the skin is really starting to stretch now. Remember how you're breasts felt when they started growing? Yeah, it sucks! Use lots and lots of lotion. Keep it mostiurized.

Your body has been going through so many changes and at 34 weeks (i'm at that mark myself) There's still things changing and going on. Mostly your skin is not only stretching but it's not as moist as it always was, and it may be more sensitive and dry. Try some lotions, I like dove intesive riming (mostly only for it rich all day mositure it gives me,) Others are fine also by Dove I find they have some really good lotions just try and stay away from anything added to it, like fragrence and scents, those can cause more irritation.
Try swtiching soaps too, something that won't dry your skin out as much, if you use a bar try something thats got lotion in the bar, if you use liquid use a moisture rich formula, again dove has many of these and they don't add extras of anything so for sensitive skin it does wonders.
Good luck, hope something helped.

The itching is due to the stretching of the skin. Pregnancy hormones can also cause itching.

Avoid hot showers and baths, which can dry your skin and make the itching worse. Use mild soap and be sure to rinse it off well and towel off lightly. Then slather on the moisturizer, preferably an unscented one because some scents can cause irritation. Try an occasional warm oatmeal bath (you can buy pre-mixed oatmeal bath preparations in drugstores). Wear loose cotton clothing and avoid going out in the heat of the day, since heat can intensify the itching.

It happens right around this time because your skin is just about stretched to its limit! It's totally normal, though. No worries!

You can get some of that Palmer's Lotion...they have different kinds...they have one for that. Or you can get some Vasiline Intensive care lotion. Rub it on your belly! It will feel good :0) Have hubby rub your belly too. It will give hubby and baby some bonding time...and it will relax you! Something else that I found really helped me (aside from the lotion) was getting in the shower and just letting the warm water hit your belly...feels so nice!!

It is very normal for your stomach to itch while you are pregnant. I have had three children and that is what happened to me while I was pregnant. I had been told that when your stomach itches your baby will be born with hair on their head. My children had hair when they were born. You can use lotion on your stomach and also baby oil. Congratulations on the baby and hope that you get what you want when your baby is born.

Definitely normal. Mine felt like that often... I think it was the stretching that made it feel that way (stretch marks). The only thing that somewhat helped for periods at a time was lubricating it with lotion.

Yes, it's normal. It's a combination of your skin stretching and hormones. Try rubbing baby oil, vitamin E oil, cocoa butter, or olive oil on your belly twice daily.
