I was supossed to have an ultrasound at the doctor, and I needed to drink plenty of water to fill my bladder. Someone there told me I need to drink 32 ounces, but that seem crazy. I looked online and it said 16 is definitely enough, but give it at least 1.5 hours to make its way through your body to the bladder. Is 16 enough? Anyone had this done before?

I'm not pregnant, but they want to see my ovaries for a check-up.

I have drank the 32 ounces before and it sucks. Drink the right amount you don't want to do it again... and drink it about an hour before your appointment. That way you don't feel like you have to pee so bad. Good luck

well just what is the capacity of your bladder? have you ever measured? Normal bladder capacity is somewhere between 400 to 600cc. 500 cc is 15 ounces. what do you think?

mind you. this is bladder capacity. the body will need water for normal function. i suggest go the full quart.
