The only thing that helped me was going to a dermatologist. They can tell you, by your skin type and severity of the problem, what products would work best or if you need to take something internally, I highly doubt you need to do it though.

While every persons' skin behaves differently to different products, I would recommend washing with Neutrogena's Rapid clear Oil-Control Foaming Cleanser.
Two to three times a week, use Neutrogena's Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask.
Lastly, use Neutrogena's On The Spot Acne Treatment for stubborn zits.
I would recommend you cut back on pop, while increasing the amount of water you consume.
Also, ask your Mom to buy you some white wash clothes, towels & bedding.
I'm telling you this because the active ingredient in the Neutrogena products, benzoil peroxide, will bleach your clothes & bath towels. I wear a lot of white shirts because as you pull your shirts over your head, they will bleach from that little contact with your face.
These Neutrogena products help control my oily skin AS WELL AS helping me have pretty decent skin.

My kids all did well with pro active excepy my oldest son but thats because he was not following the routine. It also takes a while for good results.
