Your wife or girlfriend had an afair with David Bowie. Or maybe some of the genetic code for brown eyes got accidentally deleted during development and replication ?

hi,
It is genetics why some people have one blue eye and one brown eye. It is the combination of the chromosomes of both contributing parents, and their families. It can be very nice. My baby sister did have blue eyes, with recognizable brown specks. It pleased all of the family, those of us with blue eyes and those with brown eyes. Health is important, and congratulations.

It's a mutation called mosaicism. It really isn't harmful.
